elzaslaw.com: Bio

I received my first camera (Brownie Instamatic) in the sixties and began chronicling my life through pictures. I have photographed anything and everything but keep coming back to people and places.

Later on, I was fortunate to have studied photography with an outstanding professor who taught the conscious use of symbolism in the photographic image. His classroom was as much a study in psychology as it was photography.

My love and fascination for this art form continues.

My home page photo credit goes to my teacher/mentor Allen A. Dutton.

The credit for my grasp of the Zone System goes to Nick Johnson, teacher extraordinaire.

I switched from Leica, Nikon and Bronica film gear to Canon digital in 2005.

My Studio Web Portal is at www.eLzaslawgallery.com
